Just a fun question! What do you wish your honey would do for you for Valentine's Day???

Unfortunately my hubby will be out of state conducting business on "cupids" day{blues}
He will be home for the weekend, arrives late on Friday evening, so we will make up for "lost" time then....;)
Basically just having him home will be the "gift" I like the best....
I am such a "sap" that I love "hand-written" notes from him, it means so very much to me, and it comes directly from his heart. There could be no more a glorious gift in my eyes. I know, I know, I told you I was a sap! And to make matters worse, a die hard romantic.
Other than a nice meal, my hand-written note, and some good ol' snugglin' and cuddlin' would round it out rather nicely I'd say{toothy}
Guess I'd better bribe the boys with some "movie" tickets to empty the house...he he he

I'm with Katco! A nice hand-written note would mean the world. That and a nice, long foot massage or hair brushing seesion, to finish up the evening. yeah... *melt*

On a more serious note...I would like for him to just give me one full day of just the two of us...and maybe.....Hmmm...some chocolates?
I also like the hand written note idea....that's romantic.

Karen, definite Ya huh! I love getting my hair brushed... it just gives me goose bumps and makes me soooo relaxed all at the same time. *sigh* Wonder if I tied the brush around my neck on Valentines if he'd get the hint? {toothy}

I'm HOPING HOPING HOPING to surprise my hubby this year (I'm fairly sure he doesn't frequent this board). I'm researching getting us a jacuzzi suite at a local hotel for both a Saturday and Sunday night in mid-February. I figgered that just Saturday would mean having to get there after check-in time at 3, and then checking out by noon on Sunday.
I REEEEEALLY want to lounge around in bed all day, so I'm going to spring for the second night (we have no kids that weekend!).
The surprise will be that, once I drop off my kids on Saturday morning, I'll sneak snacks and duffel bags into his trunk, and then suggest we take a car ride (we love those).
I'll make sure we conveniently arrive at the hotel. :)
I CAN'T WAIT!! We've been overrun with teens and kids and jobs and other evening obligations for so long now that it'll be great to get away. Staying at home isn't bad, but people can still call you, and my husband always ends up tinkering around fixing things all weekend. This way, he will be my SLAVE!
Excuse me ... is it hot in here or is it me??

My husband does lots of chainsawing and he wanted these kind of leather bib things with chaps for the front of your legs attached. Romantic, huh? Soooo.... I will tellhim I got something sexy to put on for him and I'll come out wearing those goofy things and nothing else. {fireblob} It'll get him going. He's easy to turn on - what can I say? {lovesick} I asked him if he would write me a love letter this year. I always write him cards and notess but he just isn't like that. I always tell him I need something to read when he's dead! Actually I told him it will be to his advantage when we have a fight. I'll get the letter out and read it and melt....

Man, momofnine, now I REALLY hope my hubby doesn't read this board. You'd have given him an idea -- and he'd end up getting ME a pair of chaps for Valentine's Day!
Yee-haw. Nice idea (wink wink).

I think I would like hubby to finish my kitchen, It's only been three days but on my what a long three days, we had to take the walls down {smash}and put new ones up, but at least I look at it this way no expensive carpenters to pay, I didn't have to cook all weekend, and hey new curtains and wallpaper. Yeah {blueblob} {blueblob}

Hubby told me that he planned to get me the Kiss Kiss bears, but couldn't find them. Oh well... can't say they impressed me that much (sorry y'all). Guess he bought into the commercial though. :)
Flowers would be good (not a dozen roses though--too expensive). I've pointed out the "too expensive" part before, but I only meant a dozen roses were too expensive. (He spent over $70 one year on them.) Apparently I didn't make myself clear... flowers good, a dozen expensive roses not necessary... oh well, maybe next year. :)
