I've been looking all over the place for a cat-related news service. I found a pet-related one but the whole point of my site is that its theCATsite...

Maybe I'll start onemyself some day :)

I've been looking at content for my site and also starting to look for a few affiliate programs. I don't want to have a bunch of ads, expecially not popups but a few select offers may be good for additional traffic.

If anyone has any recomendations for affiliate programs, let me know. I hear alot of negative comments about affiliates so it is hard to know which ones are credible.

You need to choose something related to your site topic.

Perhaps books or ebooks on dealing with stress, or items like stress balls.

Take a good look at the scheme, and what support they offer. Also how they pay, and how often. Plus are you selling goods/services, or are you just a recruiter, selling the scheme to others?

A good rule of thumb is "Would I buy it?" You can't sell stuff that you don't feel that you can endorse yourself. Also if you use it, you can promote it by writing articles about it, how to use it, how it will benefit the customer.

If you're selling for them, they shouldn't be charging you to join the scheme.
