One Big Hard Disk
How much do you think you have to pay for a 75GB, 2.5-inch, 7,200-rpm IDE hard disk? Try $630 for the IBM Deskstar 75GXP. This thing is fast and cool. Not all BIOSs can support such a high capacity, so check it out first. Visit www.ibm.com/harddrive for more info.

That's alot of disk space! Personally I don't like to get over 20, because one the format time..yuck..and they seem to get more un-stable as they increase in size...just what I've found.

You know that is the fastest IDE hard drive on the market right now. That thing is only marginally slower than some Ultra 160 SCSI drives. When it comes to bang for the buck you can't really beat it right now.

My first PC had a 40 Mb (yes - that's not a typo - megabyte!) hard drive. I couldn't imagine what I'd do with all the space ...

My first PC had 20 MB, and that was considered HUGE. Most everybody else had 5 or 10.

My first computer didn't have a hard disk :D

We have a total of 40 Giga in 3 computer (they're on one network, so they share the space). I can definitely use all of it! We currently used about 30 Giga, but that's because I try to restrain myself and not save so many files.
