Anyone know of any good Christian forums? I would like to find one where abuse is not tolerated. I left FL forums because of one very nasty person.

Any others?

I really haven't found one to my liking. I'm not that big into forums with only Christians, however, so I haven't looked that hard. One thing you can do is go to http://www.google.com and search for the following terms:

vbulletin
infopop

They are two of the most widely used bulletin board systems, and their license requires you to leave their name on every page. That means that you can find a lot of bulletin boards by searching for either one of the terms.

One of our members has a Christian forum at his site. Just click on the "Community" link at http://heartcall-music.com/ to find it.

Thank you. I'll check it out. I really liked this site because it was for everyone, yet had a place for Christian issues that was "safe" so to speak. I really enjoyed reading your responses to issues. You are very good at speaking the truth in a tempered, kind way.....a super example for me! I have a long way to go. Thank you for sharing your salt & light!

I'll print this out to show my wife every time she says I'm being a turkey. LOL!! {toothy}

{jester} Salt & light aside....you could very well STILL be being a turkey!

(just a guess, since I am a wife too & have experience with turkeyness!}

Freezerwaffle (hey, I've missed ya!), I left FL for the same reason.

Try http://www.christianwives.org if you are still looking for another place.

You know, I don't even know if you will get this message. :) Guess we'll find out, won't we.

I frequent a place called Rapture Ready. It's well traveled and the mods keep it under control.

www.rr-bb.com

The guy who started it realized that the rapture will take priority over anything you've got planned in your life, so he wanted a place to discuss it. The sentiment is rapture focused to some degree, but there are good apologist and bible study forums.

Crosswalk has one. The url is the same as the name and it is a .com. I am sure you could find a good community of fellow believers on MSN communities. You might have to email someone to get to join.

Try www.saltsite.com. It's a network of communities with shared and private discussion boards, plus a monthly magazine. I'm a moderator there and we try to keep abuse to a minimum.

I don't see a statement of faith or doctrinal beliefs page anywhere. Am I just missing it?
