I'd like to back up my sites to my new CD-RW drive, I've got Nero Express and InCD.

They'd all fit on one Cd, and I've used Nero to create/add files to a CD. I've got a backup program that will backup to CD, and recommends InCD, but I'm unsure about how this works exactly.

I don't usually back up all my sites at once - just whenever I make changes, I back up that site. Is there a way to do this, using one CD, with different directories - or as zips? If I add a file that's the same file name, does it work like a floppy, and ask if you want to overwrite it?

What do you all do?

TIA,

What operating system do you have?

I'm not real familiar with either of your CD programs.

Some CD creation utilities allow you to write to a CD without closing it. You can keep writing and then close it later.

Do you have a CD-RW drive or a CD-R drive?

I'm using WinXP (I've only just started with it), and CD-RW.

I use Dreamweaver for my sites. The original is stored on my PC, and I "publish" it to the site. I automatically have a backup on my PC, and then I often back up to an external drive.

Do you have some sort of database on your site or is it just static pages? Most paid webhosting services back up your site automatically.

No, it's just static. My host does back up, but I'd rather have my own as well. I had to move one of my sites recently, and couldn't acces my hosts copies, so I was glad I had my own to upload immediately.
