Hello All, It's almost 2:30 pm here and no one has made a daily thread for today! Where is everyone?
Here's the run down of my day:
I am going to start keeping my 24 year old cousin's 8 month old baby and today is the trial run. {dizzy}
Needless to say I'm a little crazy right now. My son and CBM (little one) are asleep right now. However you can call me Wonder Woman...this is how I got them to sleep: Matt across my chest with sippy cup CB across my knees bouncing him like a mad woman. Well they both went to sleep..but I sat there wondering how in the world I would ever get up!!!{eek}
I picked CB up, laid him kinda on top of Matt in my arms and headed to the bed room!{shhh} Very quietly and very slowly!!
I put CB on my bed then put Matt in his...then CB woke up AGAIN!{yikes} {frusty} {scatter} I got to him before he woke Matt up {sleeping} and now...{read} quiet time for me!!!
Little back ground on CB and his Mom.

She's a {nurse} and has been married since May '01. She got pregnant about 3 months into the marriage (not because she was overly anxious, but because her hubby wanted her to be)and her DH if you can call him that, had the nerve to then tell her that "she was more worried about being a Mom to CB than she was being his wife!" {fire} What did he expect ??? That the baby would be asleep at 7:00 and then they could resume the "Us time" they had before? LOL don't we all Dream about that!!!
He told her that one day, after a good arguement, and then told her to meet him at the laywers office the following Friday because he was filing for a divorce! What an A**!!!! I just want to punch his lights out!{censored} Then, yesterday was his day to have CB and do you know what the #@** did? He left him at his MOmmy's so he could go on a camping/drinking trip with his buddies!! I say good riddance!! She is being waaaaayy too nice to him! He would have to fight ME tooth and nail for visitation after that stunt!!!
Anyone have an opinion?
Sorry this is so long I should have put it under vent your spleen! {rolleyes}

Ooh, I hate irresponsible people!

Beautiful day here! {sun} The baby and I played outside, did some yard cleanup, had lunch and went outside some moreand then went to my neighbors yard to play. We finally had DRum Corps practice. We got to practice marching, since us newbies have only Marched twice and only once while playing and that was the Christmas parade which is more relaxed, we aren't in uniform, etc. Our next parade is Mem. Day and it's kinda a biggy. {eek}

I think people (women as well as men!) don't always realise how much time and commitment children need.

It's like those ads at Christmas - "A dog is for life, not just for Christmas" . Many people don't realise until it happens that children are for life. I found it a shock, and I was quite old when I had my first child. I've always been dull and boring too, so I didn't do nightclubs and things, so I wasn't missing out as much as some new parents feel they are.
