In the Subject line, just type in whatever you want... Hi, I'm new... Hello! Whatever you'd like the title of your topic to be.

Then in the main box or "Message" area, type in whatever you want! You can tell us about yourself or just say as little as "Hi! I'm new here"!

You can only have 15 images in a post or signature. The problem with too many images is that they eat up bandwidth, and I have to pay for bandwidth. My site has no revenue, so I have to watch the expenses.

Makes sense, I'll use them sparingly from now on.

No, I didn't mean it that way. I was just explaining the limit. Use all of the smilies you want.

I have had a lot more fun reading posts since you came in here and started getting people to use smilies. It even got me to start using them more.

Thot I would go ahead and introduce myself, say hi and all that. I am 54, been married for 28 years, I have 5 children, and 7 grandchildren. I grew up in Southern Cal until joining the Navy in the early 70,s. Got married, had a child, got divorced then got out of the Navy. Moved to central ca in 1990. I have been in Data Processing, then DP, then CIS, thenWhatever the title, I am in IS, or is it now IT,, who knows. I am currently working as a DBA. There has been a lot of changes in computers since 1973. I could start a few threads on that subject huh? I have been a christian since, well, a long time. Does being a Jesus freak in high school count? Anyway I read the FAQ and I like the rules. So I hope to learn and help as I can, maybe there are some things I've learned during my 54 years and 28 years being married that may help someone. I belong to a reformed church, of the christian reformed variety. I have been a life long fan of drag racing, and I love working on cars and helping people when I know I can help. Usually that includes cars somehow.... Anyway helping people with their car proplems got me nominated to be a deacon. I guess one of my spiritual gifts is mercy. I could go on but, I think that should enough for now.
Looking forward to chatting with ya'll.
John
