I have a brand new IBM T20 laptop. Its the one with the funny commercial on TV where the lawyer corrects the young IBM techie for calling the T20 "bad."

It really is great. It has all the options. Mine came with:

700 Mhz Intel Pentium III
256 MB memory
11.5 GB hard disk
14.1" display
DVD
CD/RW
Superdisk 120
Built in Ethernet 10/100
Built in 56k V90 modem
Docking station

I have owned Compaq, NEC, Micron, and Dell laptops; but this is definitely my favorite.

No you shouldn't. Fortunately, my company pays for it.

I'ld say!
If I had to guess I'ld say your looking at a $2,800-$3,200 system there. Wish I had one! :D

Boy, this thread is two machines old. I had a T30 for a little while, and now I have a T40p. I really like my IBM laptops.

About 8 years ago I had an IBM Thinkpad laptop and really loved it. One feature I really liked was the little post in the middle of the keyboard which let you move the pointer. For touch typists especially, it's great. Never have to take your hands off the keyboard.

Now I have an HP laptop of some sort. It has a touchpad area to control the pointer, and I always have to fight it. Unless desperate, I won't use that computer without a mouse hooked to it.
