A little tiny town in Alaska with 7 police officers is the only known municipality in the US whose police officers are forbidden to carry firearms.

I never would've thought there'd be such a place.... I like it in a theoretical sense, but practically it seems pretty dangerous. There isn't much preventing something dangerous from happening up in the REAL Frozen Tundra, even though it's way up there and very cold.

The community also doesn't have running water or a sewage system.

That is pretty silly.

The dangerous thing about it is that now that everyone knows about it, all of the criminals are going to move to Hooper Bay.

Of course, that could be good for Dallas, which has the highest violent crime rate in the US.

Hmmm, I didn't think of it that way. There is a problem though: criminal masterminds these days are generally weak - they need such essentials as water, plumbing, and warmth. That said however, it will be interesting to see if one of those ruthless gangs of Eskimos capitalizes on the opportunity... {rolleyes}
