Appliance installation

I have a question about tipping that was not addressed on your web page. If we are having people come to our condominium and we paid them to install 2 air conditioners and a refrigerator (and remove the old appliances), and they have to walk up 3 flights of stairs (wide stairways & hallways), do we tip in addition to the installation/delivery fee? If so, how much? (We're paying $135 installation for the frige and one a/c, and $125 for the other a/c, different merchant). Thanks in advance!

Answer:Tipping is always up to you and how good of a job you think they did. That said, I would probably follow the guidelines for furniture delivery:

Furniture or appliance deliveries - $5-10 per person. If the delivery is huge, then $20 per person.
