Happy Monday!
My monitor keeps going blank on me. Sometimes if I thwack it in just the right spot it'll come back, but sometimes I have to wait 20 minutes or so. I don't have the "magic touch." Either way it's annoying, 'cause I either don't have a monitor or I'm looking like a doofus hitting it with my armrest-thingie.
Fortunately we're getting a new one (monitor) on the 22nd. We hope. Maybe.... please...
In other news, my Vikings won last night! OH YEAH! AND, our high school football team (this was on Friday) scored points last week. This is a big plus for them, trust me. Normally I don't follow them but from what I hear such a large achievement deserves at least, um... one of these: {rolleyes} :-P

Don't be whacking that computer to violently...hope you get your new monitor! I love getting new stuff! lol We are back in Midland for a day or so, then back to the ranch, then on to Frisco so I can keep the 2 grandbabies for a couple of days. Ya no, it still seems odd to think that I have grandkids, but I sure do love it! Ya'll have a really good day...

Not much going on here. (that seems typical for me) Watching, waiting and wondering what Isabel is going to do. Gotta clean, clean clean. I am on vacation this week with nothing to do but clean. {gyuk}

Not much going on here either this week. Gotta figure out why my shift keys aren't working. Lucky I have the caps lock key. Also have to figure out way my comp keeps shutting down, I think I have a loose connection inside. Other than that I'm going to practice this week so keezer and I don't make a fool of ourselves on Saturday during the parade.

Well we got our new monitor last night! {mm} Haggled around so we could get it earlier... it's basically the same as the old one except - it works! Oh, and it's a Dell, the old one was a Gateway. As long as it stays on, that's all I care about :)
In half an hour I have to watch the Cosby Show without sound on for my pyschology class. I would've watched a show I knew something about last night, but I was busy watching the monday night football game. {eek}
Have you figured out why your shift keys aren't working? That's really strange. I know once on my other really old/beat up computer the right shift key would stick in the down position, so it'd be just like putting Caps on. I always use my right hand to hit the shift key, so I had to retrain myself to use my left. (way to pay attention in typing class, yeti {smash}

Why watch the Cosby show without sound for a psych class? Does that prove that you are in need of treatment?

No, it proves I don't know how to use my remote control very well... ;)
We had to pay attention to the character's behavior and nonverbal and see if we could figure out what was going on, basically. I figured if I was going to watch a show without sound, it might as well be one I didn't enjoy that much with sound :)

Well I never did figure out why my shift keys didn't work, I took the keyboard apart cleaned it out and all that good stuff, and put all back together and everything works fine except the shift keys, so I took the one out off kids comp until I can get to the store to get another one, which will be as soon as I can get kezzer out of bed.

All righty than, I got kezzer and we went and got me a new keyboard so I can give the kids back theirs, and be happy again. Now I need to get off this thing and practice my fife.

Well, my grandfather died today at 87 years old. Keep my grandmother, mom and uncle in your thoughts and prayers.
They asked me to do the funeral service on Monday, so keep me in your thoughts and prayers too. I have no idea what to say.

It's been a busy weekend. It feels like I have been running crazy since getting back in town. I really wanted to go see that new Robert Duvall movie this weekend, but I don't think I'll have time. :(

Jim... I don't know what to say. It was awesome. After reading it, I feel like I know the man. And that you are a very lucky man to have been able to know such a great guy so personally.
10 out of 10 :)
