Ya'll are sweet to be interested (or at least seem like you are). This forum hasn't seen this much action in months! I appreciate it. I know it's not very interesting to someone that is not in the building mode at the time. ;)

No problemo ;)
Actually I do find this rather interesting, being a youngin' there's a lot of things here that I have never really thought about before (for instance, phones in the bathroom! ;) whaaa?). I'm kind of psuedo-interested in architecture, so maybe someday.... {glow}

This forum makes me sad, only because I don't have a house of my own yet.

Think of it as research for a future home.

Exactly...it's never too early to start thinking about what you would want or to gather ideas for future reference, one of these days you will be right in the middle of it all and it will have been worth the wait!
It's kind of like reading "Better Homes and Gardens" which really is just short for "Better Homes and Gardens Than Mine." ;)

Still at it...looks like a Fall move in date, now. Nothing major that has gone wrong, just taking forever and a day to get it all finished. The painters move in Monday and he already told me to expect 3 months for them. He is meticulous, so I guess that is a good thing and there is an awful lot of detail work in the house which only adds to the time for the painters. Oh well, other than taking so long, it is looking wonderful, I am pleased with it all, except the time log. Haven't been on the forum in forever, so how is everyone? We have a new grandbaby, born Apr. 8th, 3 weeks early, but doing very well.

Didn't see your "how is everone?" because I don't visit this section that often.
Congrats on the grandbaby. Did the 3 weeks early make him/her small? For that matter, was it a he or a she?

Congratulations - Hope the baby's still healthy! :-)

The baby is doing great and he was pretty small, but has already gained a pound and a half, so all is well. Thanks for asking.

We are building a new house at the time. I was a one story house. We chopped the top off of it, added a story and shot some snakes. It is pretty cool now.
