I forgot how good Bruce Almighty, X2, and Pirates were. I've really enjoyed the DVDs.

I know I'm well behind the times ....

I wasn't sure if I should watch Bruce Almighty, I enjoyed it, but I kept thinking "Should a Christian be watching a film where an actor plays God?"

Then my daughter was chair-bound for a couple of weeks after a foot op, and she was watching the extras on the DVD, the commentary by the director and cast. Morgan Freeman said he had exactly the same reservations, and the director was talking about his faith. Then they were telling how in the scene where Bruce has all the incoming prayers put on Post-it notes, and the whole room is covered in them ... every Post-it had a real hand-written prayer by a member of the crew or cast.

If you have the DVD, and haven't got round to watching that commentary, it's well worth it.

Bruce Almighty was good!! We can't wait for the Incredibles to come out.

The incredibles was good, but it wasn't what I expected. It was definately geared more towards adults, and it wasn't quite as funny as I thought it would be, but it was still pretty good.

I'll have to watch the commentary on Bruce Almighty. I really liked the movie. I thought it was a good explanation of why everybody's prayers can't be answered the way they want them to be.
