Ok girls, heres two questions:

1) What is your favorite perfume?

2) What is your favorite cologne for your man?

My favorite for me is Poeme, and for my husband I love Curve.

My favorite is Acapella. For the hubby, he really doesn't like wearing cologne. That's ok with me - since most men's colognes are so overpowering. Do you know of a nice, soft, clean scent for men?

Oh I just love this website!! There are so many threads I can reply to, and I love giving my opinion...ha-ha! Well, my favorite colognes for me, are Rapture, from Victorias secret, Happy from clinique, and White Diamonds from Elizabeth taylor.....and for my hubby....I love him to wear preffered stock, Drakkor, or Safari(by Ralph Lauren)

Ditto, Debbie. :)

I like Liz Sport and the new Ralph Lauren out for women, and a bunch of others I keep forgetting to write the names down of. If I use any one perfume all the time, I get sick of it really quick though.

My Husband wears CK1 and Eternity for Men. Very Yummy.

We have a store called Sephora in our nearby mall. Along one long wall they have all kinds of women's perfumes - lots of expensive stuff - like $125.00 for a few ounces expensive. Along the other wall is the men's cologne. They also have their own fragrances - Bath and Bopdyworks type smells. To die for! LOVE that store!

I love Oscar, Red door, Yves...

My hubby dosn't like wearing cologne on a ongoing basis...he finds most of it overpowering. However we found a nice light scented one from the Body shop for men that he is fond of.

I'm beginning to wonder if the two K's aren't long lost twins? Same name... same tastes in a lot of things. hmm.. both funny, both crazy as loons... hmmm...;) Guess we're lucky there's two of 'em! hee hee

Ok, are Preferred stock and Drakkar light scents? Would like to pick upsomething for the hubyy for special occasions.

Well I don't know about "Light scents" but preffered stock is a little cheaper than Drakkar. But both are incredibly sexy!!!! ( since this is a woman's only thread, I can say that I like my hubby to put a little of it near his belly button, so I can smell it there too....during intimacy)

I mean light in the way that after the cologne dries it's a real faint scent... not one of those over-powering scents that you can smell from 4 ft. away. Guess I'll just have to go sniff some!

I know what you mean, I don't care those overpowering scents either, but I think both of them are light after they have been on for a bit.

we forgot to tell what perfumes we got for the holidays.
I bought Preferred Stock and Drakkar for Beezwax.
I got Poison, Navy, Opium and Eternity from CK....all for Christmas.
I love them all but Opium is my new favorite.

What ones did you ladies get for Christmas?

Well I didn't get any, and I don't particularly like them. But, hubby did get me a gift certificate to a store I don't normally shop at. I was thinking of getting some perfume with it. He got me "Red" several years ago. He really liked it, so I thought that would be a good thing to get with the gift certificate. That kind of gives something back to him too. :) That's good because two of the things I ordered for him were not shipped/cancelled a few days before Christmas without warning, so he ended up spending a lot more on me than I did on him. Heck, maybe he'll like me wearing the perfume more than he would like the other stuff I ordered. :)

My current favorite is Pheromone by Marilyn Miglin. I used to wear Obsession & Opium alot. Also like musks.

On hubby I like Drakkar Noir, Calvin & this stuff I grabbed at my hair salon called "Crew". It's neck nuzzlin stuff!

I didn't think I'd ever complain about having money to spend, but there's nothing I want at this department store! I checked on getting the perfume; they don't carry perfume. I thought I'd get a make over and buy new make up; they don't carry cosmetics. I thought department stores in malls did that stuff!! Can you tell I'm a Wal-Mart shopper?! I ended up buying shoes for the kids. They were having a clearance sale this weekend, so I stocked up on some shoes. Oh, I got a pair for me too--regular $25 on sale $7! WooHoo I guess I'll just get my hair cut in their salon the next few times or buy a pair of tennis shoes to spend the rest. I could have spent it all in Wal-Mart the first day after Christmas!! {toothy} Oh well.

I've seen Crew before.....It smells pretty nice.
Funny how our tastes change as we get older...isn't it?
When I was a kid, I remember my mother always wearing this nasty smelling perfume.....I couldn't stand it!
I recall commenting on it a lot when I was younger....and she would get mad at me for telling her it stunk.
LOL
Guess what?
I now have that same perfume and I really like it a lot!
don't I feel like a bonehead.

Boy, I don't think either of the things my husband and I use were mentioned.

He's routinely used a little Brut after his shower for ages. Since it's the only scent I've ever associated with him, I like it. If he started using anything else, I think it'd throw me off. LOL

I've been hooked on White Shoulders (dunno who makes this) for many years. My mom has made a habit of getting it for me for Xmas on years I need it, so I've never had to buy it for myself.

I've only known one or two other women who use it, but I love it. I assume my husband is okay with it, but it just occurred to me that I've never actually asked him.

Boy that brought back memories....my mother wore White Shoulders, when I was a teen. I saved one of the boxes that a set of perfume and powder came in, that she had...it's kinda like a cigar box, only it says white shoulders.

:( gosh I miss her.

It was a really nice scent too!!!!

Hubby gave me some money, so I'm going to go buy some Red perfume. BIG plus, Kroger is having a 20% off perfume sale! {toothy} Red is what he liked when we first got together. I'll suprise him for our Valentine's weekend. :) I wonder if he'll notice.
