Feb. 9-16 2K3... Valentine's Week! Aaah!

My week isn't starting off so great.... I went in the ditch yesterday. I'm going to blame it on the cutbacks for the snowplows. I was coming down an on-ramp and there was a big pile of snow at the end... must've hit it just right and I spun into the median. That throws my week off....

So I'm pretty tired from the adrenaline plus the fact that I played soccer on Sunday night so I'll be sore all week.

Not much happening here other than rain.

Yeah, pretty much. The right front headlight is out and the hood doesn't shut all the way... nothing much. It's been through a lot worse, it's a good old trustworthy car.

Anybody have special plans for Valentines?

We're really not doing anything special. It's too much hassle to go out to eat with the crowds.

Uh, no. I'm just glad it's on a Saturday so I won't have to put up with too much of the fuss. Plus, I have a 4-day weekend! Yippee!

Oh, and if you've read my blog lately, you know why I think Valentine's Day is evil ;) {evil}

Not my favorite holiday. You're supposed to go out to eat, but everyone else is doing it also. You either have to pay $100-200 for a meal at a nice place with reservations, spend hours in line waiting, or eat ridiculously early.

We've gotten about 3 inches of snow here today in Dallas. My 6-year-old daughter is loving it.

Friday was awful, our cars cv joint broke. We had the new one in the trunk, but come to find out it is the front hub that was the real cause. Still don't have it fixed. I hate it!
