Recently I received an advertisement letter from Ultimate Electronics (http://ultimateelectronics.com/). The last paragraph states: "If you were unhappy with an experience in one of our stores, I sincerely hope you'll return and once again, experience more."
Signed: Dave Workman, President and CEO, Ultimate Electronics
Make you think...

Do you think he was joking? That's funny.

Do they really think that if someone is dissatisfied they will come back to see if they are missing something? Do they think that you have to discover the secret to be happy with their store?

Maybe they needed a few more people to proof the copy before going to print.

It sounds like something was lost in translation. I think they were asking to get a second chance. I deal with customers from all over and when I get emails sometimes I just have to laugh, because when they are trying to translate into English, it comes off a little goofy or wrong. Usually you can decipher their meeting, but sometimes I have to get them to clarify what the heck they were trying to say. Is this company based out of a different country? That could be what happened, otherwise, that is kind of a funny joke.

If that is not what happened these people are really assured of themselves don't you think?

It was not an email; it was a nicely printed advertisement. Also, I don’t think that translation was involved. Ultimate Electronics is a U.S. company trading on NASDAQ http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=ULTE&d=t

That makes me think that Ultimate Electronics is supposed to have a really good service. Sounds like a strang new advertisement.
