What's your favorite ice cream?

What is your favorite ice cream flavor or dish or brand?

I'll have to say that mine is BlueBell vanilla with Hershey's chocolate sauce. I don't like whipped cream, nuts or cherries, thank you.

I also like mint chocolate chip or just plain chocolate.

B & J used to have a flavor called "From Russia With Buzz" (had expresso, regular coffee, and chocolate--"buzz" was the word--never ate that after 3 p.m.) and I have to say I've never found anything to compare with it. I also like white chocolate with raspberry swirl and chocolate chips in it.

I seldom eat ice cream, though.

I haven't had ice cream in so long, I can't remember the last time! I'd have to say though that my favorite is Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia. I don't know if they even make that anymore - they retire flavors every so often.

Our store started handling an new brand to our part of the world, Kemp's. I have a new favorite thanks to them, Moose Tracks. It has bits of chocolate, caramel chunks, and almonds all in vanilla. MMMmmmmmmmmm it is really good.

Funny - I've never heard of some of these brands - Schwans, Blue Bell, Kemps - I'm starting to think I live a sheltered life!!

Never heard of BlueBell and Kemps myself, but the Schwan's man comes around here too, it's a frozen foods delivery kind of thing ... not just icecream.

Yes, several of them ... plus we have a meat-delivery guy (mind out of the gutter, people) that sells steaks, chicken etc. ;)

The Schwan Man comes around here too. I love their frozen chicken dishes. An old girl friend from high school had that job for a few years. My youngest at the time was 3 and she called her ," the goose lady".

My favorite ice cream is HOMEMADE! My kids always want butterfinger ice cream, so I've got that receipe down to a fine art.

We like homemade with oreos crumbled up in them. Wish I could find some really good tree riped peaches this year for some peach icecream. Homemade icecream can't be beat.

My mother made a homemade ice cream to die for - she used homemade vanilla ice cream, and dumped in a warm, freshly baked apple pie, mixed it up and popped it into the freezer. You can't find anything like that!!
