Where is everybody? Is it because school is starting back?

It sure has been a ghost town around here lately.

That's like when I was growing up. We never started school until after Labor Day. My daughter started first grade this week. She absolutely loves school.

I've been real busy with work, so I haven't had a chance to post much. I got a promotion! It's a lot more work now, though. It's nice to see they finally realized my contributions and rewarded me for it. Oh well, hopefully things will get more organized soon.

I was gone all day today and when I came back tonight, I had exactly 0 email. None. Zip. Nada. Big bagel. :-(

Thanks, like I said, I've been busy. Hopefully it will settle down soon. I'm in charge of one of our departments that really needs some work. I've been coming up with an action plan for getting us back on track, and its a lot of work. It's important though, a lot of the future business for our company is going to come from this area.

Just because you're working hard at the office, doesn't mean you can be a slacker here!

This column thing is taking more time than I expected. It might just be because I'm fretting a lot over the first one tho. I have to send it in asap tomorrow morning and it prints next Tuesday.

They already published an interview with all the columnist people, today in fact. Of course they edited out all my funny parts! I'd link but the site is sub-only, which is going to cause a problem here.

I bet it will get easier with time. You're already a good writer. You're just nervous.

I'm back...If that counts. I'm going with the idea that everyone was gone because of school. I have been gone for at least two months. So, whats been happening. I dislike school with a passions that rivals all other passions u can think of.

I always loved school. Only chance I had to see friends. We lived way out in the country. Plus I loved science. I still love school. Studying phsycology right now. And great to meet you kalenelendil.... love your name.

I like school... but not the getting up early part for instance. Or the lost of tedious homework part. Or the annoying people part. Or or or.... ;)

Speaking of hurricanes... Ivan kicked our booates. Many of us still dont have power. We had a tree down in our yard with tons of debris. It sucked! So many people do not have supplies such as food and water. I cannot wait until everything is restored back to normal. I feel so bad for the people that lived on the beach and the people in pensacola. Those places were totally destroyed.

I've been watching it on the news. It looks awful, but I'm sure it is much worse in person.

It's a good thing Ivan didn't hit New Orleans, cause that place would have been completely under water for awhile.
