Chechen Muslim Rebels in Beslan, Russia

Over 300 are dead. How come when I watch TV and listen to the radio, all they talk about are the Chechen Rebels? How come they don't mention that what these rebels want is a breakaway Muslim republic? They call them Chechen separatists. They are Chechen Muslim separatists.

My guess is that most Muslims are not in favor of killing innocent women and children. I'm pretty sure it violates the Koran. Why is it a secret that the murderers of children and women were Muslim?

For the same reason nobody labeled Timothy McVeigh a Christian terrorist? (not sure if he actually was Christian or not - I don't know for sure.)

I suppose the media just doesn't want to use the word Muslim because they don't want to leave the impression that all Muslims agree with the separatist's cause or their means of attempting to achieve it. I personally could care less what that group of terrorists wants, I don't care what religion they are or what economic system they want or what their philosophy is or what clothing they wear or what their favorite football team is. ANY people who go on a rampage like the one in Ossetia are only a hair above, if not, pure evil itself.

It doesn't seem right when we are fighting a war on terrorism that is largely against Muslim extremists. It's no different than Cathoic and Protestant extremists in Ireland. It's false reporting, in my opinion. The Chechen group doesn't want a separate Chechen republic. They want a separate Muslim republic. They want a republic ruled by Muslims.

If a car dealership is defaced, you don't hide the fact that it was an environmentalist group that did it. Their cause was their motivation.
