Is it our responsibility to make our spouses health our issue too? My husband was just diagnosed with Diabetes II. He is not all bummed out, or outwardly he is not. Was I wrong to tell him, " I can do what I can here at the house. I can make for sure you get the proper meals and that the right things are here for you to eat Mr. B. But, I won't give you shots and I won't take your blood sugar. This disease has to be yours for you to take it seriously."
I thought my work week would be full of new clients. I put them all on hold to go and be with my hubby during his doctor visits. That was and is important to me. Do any of you guys have diabetes and how does your spouse treat it?
