With my husband, I think the first thing that made me think I'd like to know him better was his smile. He had a wonderful smile... it lit up his eyes. I love it when someone's eyes smile, right along with the rest of their face. To me, it seems to say they are an honest person. Might sound strange, but it's the way I think. :)

What was one of the things that first got your attention?

Oh yeah the eyes have it I agree. But also for me was when my husband turn around the very first time I met him to walk away and I saw his back side :-o

I gotta say when I saw that I was sold. Wrap up the package I'm taking it home {toothy}

I've always been a goner for facial hair, especially when they have a neatly trimmed beard AND moustache. The cowboy hat didn't hurt matters, and his eyes were soft and kind.

Which turned out to be a pretty good indicator!

I must also agree that the eyes are on the top of my list too. However I also love hands. The fact that my husband is 6'2, and I am 5'2 was pretty neat too!

Oh my...

What I loved most about him, took me the first time I met him. He was just so cool! ;) It's sounds funny I know, but it's true. He was as sure of himself as he was of anything!! Long hair, smooth shave, flannel shirts and torn jeans, tattoos on every visible part of his body...carrying around that huge radio, blasting rock music...oh boy!...now I can laugh!!
Yeah, it was definitely his coolness...{love}

Gosh, I hope you guys don't boot me off of here for being long winded, this is my first time here and I think I've already made like 12 posts, but this is so much fun, and I have been looking for a place like this!! Anyway....the story of my husband and I is one I love to tell....when I was 15 (i'm 35 now) I fell in love with him. He was a senior, I was a freshman...it was my first big crush...and boy did I have it BAD!!!! I think I stalked him...ha. He was not interested in me at all...I was a overweight(not alot but enough) and his friends teased him about me liking him...he tried to ignore me, but I was everywhere...I paid people to take pictures of him for me, I became editor of th yearbook so I could get into the yearbook room and cut all the pictures of him out of every old copy of the yearbook they had stored there...clear back to his seventh grade picture, so I could paste them in my diary (of course that was vandalism, but at the time, all I cared about was my heart.) I was only 15, you know....but I did know better...but I guess it's too late to do anything about it now...lol....anyway...I chased him for 4 years...I kid you not...when I had my lisence I would see him in his truck and I would just follow him, until he lost me...sounds pathetic, I know...but I really had it bad for this man...and I drew pictures of him that I hung on my bedroom walls, and I would call his house just to hear his voice then hang up....anyway, my senior year (of course he was long graduated by then, but I still saw him around town and chased him every chance I got) I found out he was getting married....I cried so hard...to a girl who was a junior in my school, a year younger than me. I was so hurt...the dream was over....he would never be mine. So I moved on...and eventually married someone, and it was an abusive marriage, not good at all, but for 8 years I lived with it, knowing it wasn't right...it was more mentally abusive than physically, but I think thats just as bad, anyway...then I ran into my first love (and now husband) and I was so surprised to see him, he didn't recognize me at first, I had lost weight...and I rememeber he kept saying, when did you get to be so beautiful?? And he was divorced, and the spark was still there, and he fell in love with me too this time around, and I left my husband for him...I'm not saying that was right of me to do...but god understood what I was going through....you have no idea. And so we got married, and we have been married 6 years, it isnt always easy, we have our problems at times, but I still wake up sometimes and think,,,oh my gosh I am actually married to him!!! I was 28 when we first starting seeing each other. I guess It goes to show, you can never give up on your dream! (sorry I'm long winded)

He had long hair, a leather jacket, tatoos, everything a good girl wants in a bad boy!!!! I don't know really, but it was love at first sight!! I thought my dad was going to shoot him the first time I brought him home, since my parents always told me if I ever brought home a guy with long hair that my father would be waiting at the front door with a shotgun. Well it turned out that my father knew his father and there was no shotgun!! I had to drag him out of the house on our first date just to get my father to stop talking!!!

Oh Kezzer,thats a good story!! I too always liked the long hair, leather jacket type....and it still turns me on when my husband lets his hair grow long...but I think he thinks that 37 is too old for long hair now...awwwww. But I love it when he lets his blonde hair grow long!!

My first husband was the long haired, tatooed bad boy. That was good for a while but he got worse than bad and ended up in prison.

My best husband - he's the genuine cowboy. He's been a horse trainer, he worked on ranches that are run in part as a Christian youth ministry. What I noticed first was his ties to his family and his kids. What I also noticed was how he dressed - YUCK! - sweaters and slacks. At least at church he did. When I saw him after church once - I liked what I saw. Then one day he started talking to me and he knew my name! I figured it was a mutual admiration and it went on from there. :) Needless to say now that he wears jeans and dress shirts to church now. :)
