I have to choose an English name, because I have the oral English lesson. We have to say everything in English, so each of us should have our own English name...I am considering about choosing Rachel as my English name...
in the Longman Dictionary, I found that Rahcel means a female sheep. But I really dont know what do you reall think of Rachel?
Will you think a Rachel will be a lovely girl or anything else?
and I am waiting for your suggestions.Thx...

Hello Crystal,
I have many friends in Taiwan who have chosen English names to use in the business correspondence we have together. I don't know anyone who has chosen the name Rachel yet, but that is a nice name.
The female names my collegues in Taiwan have chosen are: Linda, Joy, Ivy, Kate, Trina, Alice, Prudence. Some names that are popular right now among new moms here in the Northwest part of the USA are Madeline, Carlie, Amanda, Allison. The name you are considering has been around awhile and it is well liked. I always picture a very attractive lady when I hear that name.
