Isn't it bit unfear, that men actually look better when they age, but somehow women don't??? I think my husband looks better with every year that goes by. His gray hear just makes him look...........good! But my gray hair? (Not that I have any{pino} ) And I ask myself; WHY!!!!! And how is it that my husband has gained a lot of weight since I met him, and it doesn't make him look any less atractive, while ME on the other side..........Just some frustrating thought from a woman that just has been and had a look in the bathroom mirror..........

Hanna, you are so funny!!! We have WAY too many mirrors in our bathroom, and I avoid them as much as I can!!! My DH has that really pretty silvery gray hair, guess he inherited it, cause his Mother's is really pretty, too. Me, well, I don't know...I keep it colored...ha ha ha Men just age more gracefully for some odd reason.........not fair!!!

I think it is because women tend to gain the weight in places that is so darn noticeable. For me it is my face. Ugh!! But you are so right Hanna, I think my hubby is better looking now than when we married. Some of it is because his personality has mellowed so.

But I don't get it! In the animal world too, the men are better looking! And you are right about the gaining weight in not the right places,JAW. Mine is my tummy, it still looks like I'm pregnant.....{bawling} And I just dont have the willpower to do anything about it.

Tell me anything worse then going to the store to get new clothes, and the LIGHTS in those SMALL changing rooms. And all of the MIRRORS!!!! Someone who really hates women must have made them.........
The reason why I get so upsett about this right now, is that 17.th of may is comming up, and I know I have to get into a propper outfit. arrrggggg............

You are right about the animal kingdom...the males are always prettier, otherwise, us women would probably just ignore them. Even the male hummingbirds are much prettier....go figure!

It has always amazed my spouse that I have always had broader shoulders than him. Go figure. I just wish I was a petite size 8 again. Have to work at it though and my get up and go has done got up and went. {faint}

Another one of those things my mother always says. There is a thread here about just how different I talk than most folks. I have Texas to thank for that. I'll see if I can scare up that thread so you can shake your head at my Texican lingo.

I can totally relate to you JAW, I was raised pretty much hearing the same stuff as you and sometimes I will say something to someone and they will look at me like I am a nut...ha ha

You are so right about the guy's looking more sexy as they age!!..my DH is bald on top, I love it!..he think's I'm wacky,but I've alway's loved a bald man!!{baldy} I think with women,we put our families first & have no time for ourselves, or we forget about ourselves..now that it's just my DH & I at home, I set up a mini gym, I don't use it 24-7 but it has helped, and I feel good after a good work out!..We also have 30% more chub (hate that word fat! ) than men!. {popcorn} ..so carry on ladies!! our DH'S love us with some meat on our bones! keep's them snuggly wuggley in bed!..RIGHT BOY'S?? LOL
