What do you say to your husband when he says he'll leave you if you ever get off of your prozac?

Well first why do you want off Prozac? Why did you get on this antidepressant in the first place? Was it suppose to be a temporary fix or what? Have you discussed this with your doctor? Has your husband went with you to your doctor appointments? You really don't give much info here to go on.

Since when does love, and for better or worse make such conditions.

If my husband said that to me, I'd either laugh or tell him to go. If he thinks holding a proverbial ax over my head is going to control me, he has another guess coming. I'm afraid you have a deeper problem than whether or not you take your medication. Like JAW says, you aren't giving enough info.

You are so right Momma. Plus if I had chronic depression I would want my prozac. I can't imagine not wanting to interact with your family due to depression. That is not living.

i agree and maybe he is saying that for the sake of their family or maybe he is afraid you might hurt yourself if you go off you meds.

{flowers}...I'd keep taking my Prozac. Then show him the door..or show him the door,and you may not need the Prozac..
