12 days of Christmas

How many gifts would you have if you recieved all the gifts mentioned in the song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas."?

This came for the 2006 Farmer's Almanac.

I would think 78?

Okay Hanna good guess. But you have to remember the song. The items are repeated every day for 12 days. So you will end up with 12 partridges in a pear tree and so on and so forth.

The answer is actually 364. We sat down and tried to work through the song by memory. What hoot that was. But I thought this riddle was cool.

well i dont know but i think it seems pretty ez just very tedious and you dont need to go through the whole song
the song by the end will state each item starting from 1x2 then 2x11 then 3x10 and so on and since when it reaches the middle of 6x7, all you need to do is double it
so (12 + 22 + 30 + 36 + 40 + 42)2= 364
