What kind of watch do you like - digital, analog, or a combination of both?

I have a hybrid. The feature I like best is that it automatically updates the time using that Atomic clock signal from Colorado. They make watches that is solar powered with Atomic timekeeping, but they are huge. I wold prefer a slimmer watch, but none of them have the date or an alarm, both of which I need.

As far as an actual watch? I'm "old school" so I'll go analog. I usually just use the digital thing on my cell phone though. It's so much more convenient - and I hate things being on my wrist.

Digital all the way. Like jfahler said, it's so much more convenient. I like to look at my watch and instantly know what time it is. Analogs aren't "hard", but I don't see any advantage for them. I guess I'm just one for practicality.

My {devil} husband went to buy a watch - and when the poor child behind the counter asked him if he wanted digital, he said "No, analogue." Of course she hadn't the faintest idea what that was. {rolleyes}

I think that was downright cruel.

To her or him? I hope analogue never goes out.

I like ANALOGUE in as much as possible,but as far as watches go,when i had one,I LIKED DIGITIAL BETTER!! (I put it on 24hr time)

I still have it somewhere round here (Its a nice one too)
