Question:
How much should one tip a personal financial planner? Is there a difference if the financial planner works for a large corporation (like Ameriprize Financial), or is it dependent on who well they have done with our investments? We have been with our financial planner for over 10 years and he has sent us cards for holidays, birthdays, etc. but never a gift. But, this year has been especially good with investments and we feel we should give something - what is appropriate?
