I think it will be great (but I will need to give it my own layout touches for my forum)!

It really does have many nice features on the way.

I'd like a vB over my UBB anyday.

Yeah, I ran a large UBB for a year or so, and I LOVE the vbulletin far more. So many more admin options, and speed that it just surpasses the UBB.

I've used it a bit - don't know if upgrading would be a good idea right away. It's supposedly faster, and it has built in functionality for polls, a buddy list, private messenging, and subscribing to a thread without posting.

The downside is the "Report this thread to a moderator" link is akwardly placed (we'll see if it stays there or not), and the way the sub-forum system is setup is horrible - I think it will be changed, however.

I don't think I'll be upgrading my site straight away but certainly will upgrade at some point. I usually tend to give new software a few weeks for all the bugs to be ironed out, then I'll work on customising vB 2 to suit us a little better, then I'll upgrade to it :)

Whatever happened to 2.0? Is it going to come out? It's been over a month and a half.

It's in development. I've heard that it's been drastically improved in terms of bugs/efficient/refinement in general. I think it'll be ought in another month or so.
