View Full Version : What if I'm not a married adult?

May I participate at Married Adults.com even if I'm not a married adult?

Absolutely! We welcome participation in any forum from anyone. Please register and tell us what's on your mind.

The reason The Forums are at Married Adults.com is because the only other domain name I had registered was JamesGLewis.com (http://jamesglewis.com/), and it is a webiste for web developers. I thought I would get broader participation here.

Oooh! I'm so glad I found this thread... I have several friends who were leery about signing up, because I wasn't sure if it was just for married people. Now, I know so I'm off to blab all over the place about this site! :)

Okay, so that's cool. I can join in even if I am not married. The question is though, do I have to be an adult?

Life begins at 40 - so I've only just started!

Seriously though - I am looking forward to getting involved in these forums. I have seen a few topics that grab my fancy.

Right people - you have been warned - the show is about to start.

When I grow up I wanna be a Cowboy!

Hey, I'm single, and only 16 :D

I admit, I was wary of this site at first as well - the name implies, uh, certain things...in fact James was kind enough to send me a Bible (a nice one broken up into sections so I can finally read it), and the package said it was from "MarriedAdults.com" - my parents were sort of suspicious, but they thought no ill of me...

...especially when they opened it up to find a Bible inside. :D

Hi Chris

Good to speak to you again. In fact it was one of your posts (or should I say your signature on one of your posts) that got me to come over here.

I notice that you at 16 are a Moderator and I at 41 am a Junior Member! Man - I love the internet!

Speak to you in one of the threads soon!

God Bless

Thespian,

Thanks for joining. Nope, you don't have to be married or an adult to join.

Thespian...Acck! Do you want to split the tab on new shawls and walkers? I'm close to being the same age as you! Although older or younger... I'm not saying! {toothy}

Thespian,

Oh no, could I be the oldest here? I will be 44 this January.

Yuck :(

This internet thing IS great. One of my fellow moderators is 16. Both my daughters are older than him. Should I be depressed or what?

Jim, Blinc, CJ...

Thanx for the responses - you guys sure now how to make a chap feel welcome!

Blinc & CJ - You have no idea how relieved I am to know that there are others out there my age who are addicted to this great technology.

I'm a little snowed under right at present, but will soon be back to partake more actively in your debates!

Till then

Thespian,

I do the best I can with this ole' computer. When I get stumped I have to go to my 17 year old daughter. Is it suppose to work that way? Parent getting advice from their child.

Ok your sig. says Oldest Kid on the Block. But at 41 sorry your not :) Too sad to say unless someone here is over 43 Im the oldest I guess. But thats ok we have the official title for life of "Baby Boomers", that at least makes me feel young.

Well it's a relief knowing you don't have to be married!
As for how old I am?
If you subtract my dads age from my mothers and then add my little sisters age, then add my older sisters age, then subtract my older brothers age...that would be my age two years ago. {toothy}
Hint: My little sister is 14. And my parents are 1 year apart.

Oh dear it's much too late for that. My brain stops calculating not much past noon. But, I have a feeling blinc will jump all over this one.

The hubby isn't home so I can't use his either. I'm stuck.

Well good, i don't meet either of the "qualifications" (married or an adult). But i'm here anyway! :) I should hope a married person should be an adult, but that's a whole different topic....

All i can come up with for the age doohickey is n - |n-1| +14 +? -??
I don't know the last 2 ages, i'm either missing something or TTP forgot to post them... oh well :) I'm an algebra student i guess, but not a complete geek, and i too can only count up to 19 on the fingers and toes.

As for me being new here.. um.. i'm new! Hi, everybody...
