Go Laura Wilkinson!

Comes back from 11th place to win the Women Platform Diving Gold. And she's from Texas too!

Aren't the olympics amazing? Even my 4-year-old sat mesmerized today, watching the women's vaulting and the men's hurdles.

Of course, then she spent about 30 minutes racing up and down the hallway, and generally showing off her physical prowess.

Brings out the best in all of us!

Boy, Michael Johnson was smoking yesterday. I knew he was good, but that surprised me.

I'm surprised he's a smoker. You think he'd know better.

I've got a question, and I hope this doesn't sound too ignorant! When are the winter olympics? Are they in two years? Well, don't laugh too hard! :)

I'm more of a winter olympics fan myself. I absolutely adore the ice skating competitions. Gosh, it looks so easy... but I've skated on a pond, as a kid in Michigan, I know it's hard to just stand upright! I love Michelle Kwan's gracefulness, I think she's probably one of the best woman skaters I've ever seen.

They used to have the summer Olympics and the Winter Olympics together every four years, now they do them individually separated by two years.
