Tipping Questiong...when you get a discount...

I have been getting my nails done at a spa that is attached to my gym. I get a 20% discount because I'm a member of the gym. Should I tip on the original amt OR on my reduced amt?

I personally would tip on the original amount, but either is fine.

Well...that's what I've been doing pretty much (I typically tip 20% for any salon service). Just curious if there was protocol for it.
