I made the call, it came off perfectly, and now, a day I thought would never happen is going to happen on Tuesday (cancellation of Tuesday's work providing)!

I'm happier now than I've been in over eighteen months.

It's a long story...but I'll try to explain.
Eighteen months ago, I met this girl at a seminar who'd been through a similar experience with school and the like. We met again at another seminar a month later and barely left each other's side the whole time. Then, at a third seminar a month later, she didn't show - she was in hospital with god-knows-what, but I believe to be some sort of breakdown. We lost touch after that, because she's impossible to talk to on the phone.

Then on New Year's Eve, I heard that she was in a much worse way, and decided to give getting back in touch with her one last try. And the phone call went really, really well and we're meeting up on Tuesday.

There. Hope I didn't blather too much.

See, I'm figuring out the stratagy to getting more posts--you just throw in a sentence or two comment to people. Problem is--I don't stop at a sentence or two! So I end up spending all my time on one post while CP is making about 10! {frusty} I've got to learn to shut up!! {rolleyes} Like that would ever happen!!

Back to you CP, and seriously, thanks for sharing your story. :) I'm really glad that things worked out well.

CP, thanks for letting us know what was going on. I'm glad the conversation worked out for the good and hope your friend is well on her way to being healthy again. Sounds like she's had a tough time of things and I'm sure she can use all the good friends she can get right now.

Well, today did prove to be interesting.
We met up, she's changed a lot - wayyyy for the better.
And although we didn't get to talk all that much (there were four of us), it opened the door to keeping in touch with each other. Coyote Ugly was really good too!
