Tipping Massage Therapist for Car Accident Claim

I was in a car accident and was prescribed massage therapy for up to 2 times a week for 90 days. I'm having my massage done at a day spa that accepts PIP (personal injury protection) claims. Am I supposed to tip the therapist because it's in a "spa" setting vs "clinical" setting?

There is no need to tip.

Do you think? I wouldn't know what to do, since it's silly to tip for something that is mandatory for a few months, and not a personal luxury..But does the massuese depend on tips? It is a "spa setting".

Not when they are accepting assignment of an insurance claim.

You shouldn't have to tip your therapist in a medical-setting, but if you want to you can.
