If you could go back in time to any era, who would you like to talk to and what is the ONE question you would like to ask?

I haven't decided yet, but would love to see what some of you come up with.

I would go back to the Garden of Eden. One just to see what God had intended it to be.

My question would be directed to Eve: What in the world were you thinking girlfriend?

Definitely something biblical - not sure what, though.

I agree, it would be nice to go back to the Garden of Eden and ask Eve to please not eat that apple!!! But if I couldn't do that...I would love to go back in time to when the Indians roamed America...as long as they couldn't scalp me or anything...ha

Yeah, after the garden of eden thing I would love to go back to the Victorian era. I have decorated my house in that period. I actually love the thinking about it but I am sure I would hate having to wear corset, outside toilets etc.

I'm very happy living in the twenty first century. I wouldn't like to go live in another time.

As for a short visit - I would like to visit the Sufrragists (sp?) in the beginning of the previous century, show up in their prison cell, encourage them and thank them for what they did for me.

I couldn't come up with one either. I've been thinking about it a lot, but with no success.

Hmmm... I'd go back to Jesus' ascension and ask if He could take me with Him. I love to fly.

...But, that's OK, 'cause I know I will join Him in the air someday. Come quickly!

"Oh, what rejoicing there will be..."

bump. This looked like an interesting thread. What do you guys think?

Would you pick an era based upon the famous people of the time or would your pick one based upon what was going on at the time?

I think I'd be afraid to go back in time. I'd be worried that I'd screw something up!

Maybe I'm spoiled. It's hard to think of a time that is better than right now. I like my microwave, cell phone, and satellite tv.

If I was just going to visit brief time, I wouldn't mind going back to the signing of the Bill of Rights or the Constitution. I'd take a video camera and a lot of tapes and interview the signers about all of the decisions by the Supreme Court over the past 40 years and see what they think.

Creative, wiggles. That gives me an idea.

I wouldn't mind going back to the time of the Bible and asking Paul, Peter, John, James or Jesus exactly what they meant about some passages. The video camera idea wouldn't be bad.
