Either I missed it or there isn't an answer to my tipping question.

We live in a small town but could happen in other size towns too.

My question is when the owner waits on your table is it necessary to leave a tip?

Its like paying the owner twice, I believe and not necessary!

I thought I would give you your own thread.

The answer is yes.

I worked for 5 years in a restaurant where the owner was a waitress. She always got tipped, and most of her customers were regulars who knew she was the owner.
