Denial of Service (DOS) Attack

We had a DOS attack today. It wasn't on our site, but it was on a site that was hosted by our hosting company. A DOS attack is just an attempt to flood a network with useless traffic so that valid users cannot access a site. We lost service for at least 4 hours today.

It gets old. I haven't heard yet whose site was targeted.
