Tipping - When purchasing a gift card?
Hello.... what is the proper etiquette when PURCHASING a gift card at a fine dining establishment? I did not tip when purchasing the card. But as I walked out, I wondered if I should have. I welcome any comments. Thanks.

You don't tip when you buy a gift card. The card user tips when they eat.
